Ethel "Amerett" Winey was born on 27 Jun 1893 in Milford, Iowa, to Samuel Augusta Winey and Martha "Mattie" Emily Owens.They were married on 17 Nov 1915 in Milford, Iowa, and had 12 children. He died on 03 Nov 1972 in Mason City, Iowa. She died on 26 Jan 1987 in Mason City, Iowa.
